Banggai Regency is the 100th City Served PT Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk.

Banggai Regency, one of the regions in Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, has now participated in fulfilling the obligations of the Republic of Indonesia Minister of Communication and Information Regulation Number 10 of 2016 concerning Single Number Emergency Call Services, by activating the 112 Emergency Call Service. With the activation of this service, Banggai Regency has become the 100th city served by PT Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk. in service 112.


The 112 emergency call service on this occasion was inaugurated by the Regent of Banggai, Mr. Ir. H. Amirudin. Also present as a representative from PT Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk, Commercial Director of PT Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk., Mrs. Sri Akhadah.


The 112 Emergency Call Service is a form of Smart City implementation through the Smart Government pillar. In this service, the Government is present to serve the community in emergency conditions, on an electronic basis. Apart from that, this service is a manifestation of the Smart Living pillar, because people will be smarter in emergency situations, by calling 112. The 112 Emergency Call Number has also been integrated into other emergency numbers, such as 118/119 ambulance, 115 for Basarnas, 129 for post natural disasters, etc. Emergency reports will be received by Agent 112 and processed and forwarded for action by the relevant agencies. With 112, people can ask for help even if they are in an isolated area, because it is toll-free and can be done even if they don't have a SIM card, or the provider is down.
