PT Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk. Together with the Bengkalis Regency Government There will be cooperation with the 112 Emergency Call Service

PT Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk. will assist the Bengkalis Regency Government through the Information Communication and Statistics Service in the 112 emergency call service. This service will be an implementation of the Command Center in providing services to the community free of charge. In this meeting, he was represented by the Head of the Bengkalis Regency Communication, Information and Statistics Service, Dr H Suwarto.

 

The 112 Emergency Call Service is a form of Smart City implementation through the Smart Government pillar. In this service, the Government is present to serve the community in emergency conditions, on an electronic basis. Apart from that, this service is a manifestation of the Smart Living pillar, because people will be smarter in emergency situations, by calling 112. The implementation of this Single Number Emergency Call Service is also to fulfill the mandate of Minister of Communication and Information Regulation Number 10 of 2016 concerning Single Number Emergency Call Service.

 

Emergency Call Number 112 has also been integrated into other emergency numbers, such as 118/119 ambulance, 115 for Basarnas, 129 for natural disaster posts, etc. Emergency reports will be received by Agent 112 and processed and forwarded for action by the relevant agencies. With 112, people can ask for help even if they are in an isolated area, because it is toll-free and can be done even if they don't have a SIM card, or the provider is down.
